Magic Knight Rayearth (and it’s sequel series, Magic Knights Rayearth), really helped propel CLAMP into a new realm of popularity. Responding to the success of Sailor Moon, Rayearth was a fantasy magical girl adventure, complete with transformations, magic spells, and giant robots.
